It is essential that your crisis team is fully trained and ready for anything. Here is a selection of the crisis training courses I run:
Dealing with a crisis (simulation) – a realistic simulation gives your team and your existing plan a thorough work-out before a real issue or crisis hits. The simulation training will likely result in refinements to your crisis plan, clear development goals for your team and could even help you prevent some crises from actually occurring.
Introduction to crisis management – this crisis training, which is supported with practical toolkits, covers; creating a crisis manual, choosing a crisis team, identifying risks and rehearsal mechanisms.
Frontline crisis management – this course is designed for those ‘on the frontline’ in a crisis, for example receptionists, security guards or administrative assistants. Delegates will go away with practical advice on how to deal with issues and handle calls from key stakeholders like the media in a calm and professional way.
Testing frontline media and crisis skills – this is a one day crisis training course with an escalating crisis scenario – which will test crisis handling skills – and a number of realistic media challenges. Attendees will learn a great deal from being at the centre of a media storm during a crisis. The course can involve journalists and camera crews to give real-life experiences for the delegates.
