I believe in being open and transparent about charging and that’s why I’ve included details of my rates on my website. I keep detailed timesheets for all client work, which are available for clients to review at any time. 

I agree with clients upfront what a programme, project or training course is likely to cost in terms of my time (fee) and potential ‘bought-in’ expenses (costs) and provide regular reports against the budget to ensure fees and costs are contained.

Day rate: £575

To keep things simple, I charge £15 a day to cover operational costs (telephone, email, postage, stationery etc), unless a project requires heavy investment in materials in which case I’ll charge per item (agreed upfront with the client).

Mileage is charged at 40p per mile, and I add a 17.65% handling fee to ‘bought-in’ costs, such as design or print.

I am VAT registered and the above rates are exclusive of VAT.
